Rope of Life, 2008

2008

installation (land art)

a visual Installation creates a seen on earth, to create movement and vitality in the place by using the clothesline as a sign of life in this place.

Spreading clotheslines on all the abandoned houses in the village with the participation of the inhabited houses creating an integrated visual scene, that hopes to bring life back to these homes.

That Hopes to be ...
a Call for life in the life ...
Rope or line that makes you feel like asking a permission from whom inside,
despite the fact that there is no one inside
but the smell of time that was, and continued without them.
Clothesline lifeline

the work should have been carried out in one of the Palestinian destroyed villages in 1948 but it is impossible due to the Israelis who does not allow such a project
